This is an edited repost of an inspirational devotional found on the internet so I make no claims to ownership or authorship. It's a timely word for God's House, as its aligned to the message brought to us Sunday by Julie Beader. Check out the Facebook Live video on our Media page after you check out this blog.
Every person has a painful story, the kind that makes you want to give up. If you're in the middle of a painful time, I want to encourage you to "never give up!" Your God-appointed destiny is awaiting your arrival! Sometimes all we need is a new way of looking at things. What's painful might also be liberating. The same school bell that sounds as a disturbance at 8:00 a.m. also sounds interesting at 2:00 p.m. It's literally just a matter of time and how you look at it. Another thing we should never do is envy anyone. Everyone has their own pace to run their own race. The race is not given to the swift but to those who endure to the end. So don't think someone walking faster than you has a more important appointment than you. Maybe they're just rushing to the bathroom!! :D In the same way, a rose might smell better than a tomato, but it doesn't mean it can make a better stew! Each has its own purpose, use and destiny. Don't try to compare yourself to others. You have your own strength! You have to look for it and build on it. All animals that exist were once in Noah's ark. A snail is one of those animals. If God could wait long enough for snails to enter Noah's ark, His door of grace won't close until you reach your expected position in life. Your appointment with your God-appointed destiny is coming! So if you've been looking down on yourself, just don't! Keep looking up and keep trusting God. If you've had a break in your progress, remember that broken crayons still color. If you feel like you'll never hit your goal, keep pushing. You might be closer to your breakthrough, your goal and your appointed time of destiny than you think. Your appointed time is coming! Enjoy a promising new week. Stay blessed.
