Giving
Here at God's House of Healing and Restoration we believe what the scriptures tells us about giving. The tithe is a tenth of our income that we give to the work of the Lord. The first mention of the tithe is in Gen 14:18 - 20 where Abraham gave a tithe to Melchizedek the priest. The Law of Moses establishes the giving of the tithe in Lev 27:30-32.
In the New Testament, the Lord Jesus mentions the tithe as something that we should continue to do. The Apostle Paul further mentions that our attitude towards giving should be cheerful and generous (2 Cor 9:6-13).

The James 1:27 Fund
God's House has created a fund that will be used to help families with funeral expenses in time of loss and also to aid the most vulnerable amongst us. If you wish to donate to this fund simply indicate that in the Notes when giving online or on the "other" line if giving in person using a God's House tithe envelope.
All funds marked "James 1:27 Fund" will be directed into that fund.
